Session Timeout

Why Was This Developed?

In earlier versions of Avo Assure, users were not notified before and after their session expired, and once the session expired, they were automatically logged out.

What is the Goal?

• When the session is close to expiry, a popup message will appear to notify the user. This popup will prompt the user with the option to continue their existing session seamlessly. This helps users to extend their session without having to log in again, ensuring that their work or activities are not interrupted. This is particularly useful for preventing data loss or disruptions in workflow. The user-friendly prompt will typically provide clear instructions in a popup with Continue button to take continue action.

• When the session expires, a popup appears on the screen prompting them to log back into Avo Assure. This ensures that the user is authenticated again before continuing their work, maintaining security and data integrity. The login popup routes to a login window to enter the user's credentials, and a login button to login to the system again.

• Upon successful login, the user can resume their activities.
