1. Element Identifier Order

Why was this developed?

In the earlier version of Avo Assure, object identification depended on the object's position. If the positioning of the scraped element changed, the action would be done in the previously scraped position.

What is the Goal?

The Avo Assure team has developed the Object Identifier Order feature. This feature allows users to prioritize the element locator for an element.

How does it look?

How does it work?

  1. The user has to log in to Avo Assure with valid credentials.

  2. The user has to click the Design button to display the Design Screen.

  3. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to select the required captured element.

  5. The user has to click the Element Identifier Order button, and the Element Properties window will be displayed.

  6. The user can re-order the priorities of the identifier according to the requirement by dragging and dropping the identifier using the Three-line icon. The Newly added properties are CSS selector, Href Attribute, and Label. a) CSS selector: CSS selectors provide a powerful and flexible way to capture elements, IDs, and Attributes. b) Href Attribute: Href attributes capture the types of links or destinations for objects. c) Label: Labels are used to capture text labels and placeholders, helping Avo Client to capture various elements on a web page.

  7. After changing the priorities of the identifier, the user has to click the Yes button, and the toast message will be displayed.

  8. After reordering the properties of the identifier, the user can view the order by hovering the mouse on the Eye icon.

How can I get this?

If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.3, this feature will be available automatically.
