Steps to commit/Push Test Step folder to Bitbucket Repository
To commit Test Step folder to Bitbucket Repository we have two ways
1. Commit single Test case folder to Bitbucket Repository
2. Global commit – Commit the parent folder to Bitbucket Repository
Select project from the Projects list, then click Design Studio button from top right pane of your Assure instance
Select Element Repository tab, select single Test step folder to commit, and click see more icon, select commit option, then commit pop window will bring up
Enter commit related message in commit textbox, click Push button to commit Test Step folder to Bitbucket repository.
Navigate to Element Repository Window, click Bitbucket icon from top left corner of Element Repository window, then click Commit button.
After clicking commit button, the commit window appears on screen.
Enter Commit related message in textbox, search & select Test Case folder, click Push button to execute the push action.
Note: If you want to commit a particular folder to Bitbucket Repository you can select folder which you want commit.
Verify the push action in Bitbucket, login into your Bitbucket repository to verify the commit/Push.
Note: When we commit any Test case folder or main folder to Bitbucket repository from Avo Assure, all files go in JSON files format.
When you edit any file in Bitbucket, it only reflected in Bitbucket but not in Avo Assure.
