Execute File

The Execute File action in the Avo Assure is found under the @Generic Element is used to fetch the given input file that will be executed automatically, and save the result in dynamic variable.

Syntax

(Required)

Specify the path of the file that needs to be executed.

Output Value:

This variable stores the status as true or false

Example

Execute a specified file The Execute File action launches or runs a specified file (e.g., an executable .exe, script, or batch file) located at the given file path (e.g., C:\Users\sammed.durge\Downloads\guidde-windows.exe). The outcome of the execution is stored in the {Execution Result} variable, with the following possible values:

  • True if the file is executed successfully

  • False – if the file is not found or execution fails
