Get Text

This is pre-built action in Avo Assure and comes for element captured from SAP application. It instructs the Avo Assure client to fetch the text present in the textbox and save result in an output variable.

Usecase/Example

Scenario

Consider a scenario where a user is testing an SAP application and needs to retrieve the sales order number shown after creating a new sales order. For this scenario, the Get Text action is used by Avo Assure. It retrieves the sales order number for validation purposes.

Expected Result:

The Get text action needs to retrieve text from textbox element and saves result in output variable.

Output:

The action is performed on textbox element and saves the result in {Result} output variable
