Self Heal is a mechanism which automatically prioritize your identifier priority. This ensures that even if certain properties change, the system can adapt dynamically, maintaining seamless element identification and reducing manual intervention
In Element Repository, click Tools button and select Self Heal option from drop down.
On the Self Heal popup, we have two options A. Save the reprioritized steering elements to the repository B. Discard the changes after the execution
A. Click Save the reprioritized steering elements to the repository radio button, and select an option:
Adjust the broken elements attributes
Preserver the properties of reprioritized items for subsequent execution
Note: If the user selects the Adjust the broken elements attributes radio button, if captured element properties have changed, they will be automatically updated to the new properties during execution.
If the user selects the Preserver the properties of reprioritized items for subsequent execution radio button, it will be properties attributes subsequent while during execution. The Self-Heal feature now also works on the Custom1 and Custom2 attributes.
Click Apply to current repository button
Note:
If user want to apply Self Heal feature to all repositories, then can click Apply for all repositories button.
B. Discard the changes after the execution
On Element Repository, click Self Heal icon
Self Heal pop up will appear, select Discard the changes after the execution radio button
Click Apply to current repository button
Note: If the user wants to disable the Self-Heal feature for all repositories, they can click the Apply for all repositories button.
