Tools in Element Repository

Why was this developed?

The Element Repository tools now include options to map, compare, and replace elements, aligning with the shift-left strategy in Avo Assure. These features were developed to enhance efficiency in test case preparation and maintenance. Manually created custom elements, based on user stories, can be mapped to elements in the AUT, ensuring accurate alignment. The compare and replace options enable users to seamlessly update elements when changes occur in the AUT, reducing effort and improving the adaptability of test cases to evolving requirements.

What is the goal?

The goal of developing the mapping, comparing, and replacing features in the Element Repository is to support the shift-left strategy by streamlining test preparation and maintenance processes. These capabilities aim to ensure that custom elements align with the AUT, enable seamless updates when the AUT evolves, and enhance overall efficiency and accuracy in test case creation and management.
