Release Notes - Assure v26.0.4
Avo is excited to announce the release of new version 26.0.4. Here are the enhancements:
Key Enhancements
Role-Based Push Restrictions for Test Artifacts
You can now use enhanced role-based access control for pushing test artifacts to Bitbucket. Quality Managers and Quality Leads can push any test artifacts, while Quality Engineers can push only artifacts that are assigned to them or approved. This reduces the risk of unauthorized changes and ensures that only validated or assigned artifacts are pushed to Bitbucket. Learn more
Handling of Large Execution Reports for Reliable Email Delivery
Now large execution report PDFs are sent easily. When a PDF report exceeds 20 MB, Avo Assure automatically compresses it into a ZIP file and delivers it through email. This ensures that large reports are shared successfully without any manual effort. If the compressed file also exceeds 20 MB, the system displays an error message to clearly indicate the size limitation, helping users quickly identify and address the issue. Learn more
Bug Fixes and Improvements
See the following table for the bugs resolved and the key benefits.
Fixed Issue with Get Tool Tip Text Cell Action
The Get Tool Tip Text Cell action did not retrieve any value and the step failed during execution. This issue is resolved, and the action now retrieves the tooltip text correctly and the step executes successfully.
Fixed Issue with Execution and Admin Page Name Overlapping
Execution list names on the Execution page and names on the Admin page overlapped and were not properly display. This issue is resolved, and names on both pages now display clearly without overlapping.
Fixed Issue with Pushing Unlinked Data Files for Multiple Test Cases
While pushing multiple Test cases, data files that were not linked to the Test cases were also pushed. This issue is resolved, and only the data files linked to the selected Test cases are now pushed.
Fixed Issue with Delayed Navigation to Element Repository from Test Cases
Navigation to the Element Repository from Test cases through the element Details section took longer time than expected. This issue is resolved, and navigation to the Element Repository now completes without delay.
