Bug Fixes and Improvements:
Refer to the table below to learn more about the bugs addressed along with the respective benefits.
Recorded scenario is failing
While recording a Test Case in Genius, the recorded scenario was failing because certain elements were not captured due to wait time. Initially, this was resolved by adding a manual wait step during Test Step creation. Now, the process has been further improved as manual intervention is no longer required and the system automatically recognizes and manages wait time.
Context menu is not getting captured
In desktop automation, users were unable to capture elements from the context menu. This issue has now been resolved using a pre-built action selectMenu
. To interact with the context menu, add "context" in the Input Value textbox.
Multiple windows are getting launched
There were two different windows opening with the same Process ID for an application, making it difficult to launch the correct window as sometimes one screen appears and at other times another. This issue has been resolved.
Desktop elements are not getting captured
Elements were not being captured in ICE due to multiple windows opening simultaneously for an application. This issue has now been resolved. User can now access the Desktop element.
Duplicate elements in Element Repository
This is fixed and now Element Repository does not capture duplicate element names.
Debugging- SetTextBox values were not entered properly
At the time of debugging, User was not able to add value in the SetTextBox. This is resolved now.
Debugging - Elements not clickable
At the time of debugging, Element are not clickable after recording Though it's visible on the page. This issue is resolved now.
Debugging - Get count of Child Elements
