# Set end point URL

This is a pre-built action located under the **WebService List Element**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to set the end-point URL for the web services.

### **Syntax**

**Input Value**: `<URL>`

| <p>\<URL><br>(Required)</p> | Enter the full URL of the webservice endpoint to be set |

**Output Value**

**Example**

**Sets the endpoint URL for the User Registration webservice during API testing of an e-commerce platform.**

The **Set end point URL** action takes the URL from the Input Value column **(e.g.,** [**https://apitestlab.avoautomation.com/store/api/carts/**](https://apitestlab.avoautomation.com/store/api/carts/)**)** and configures the web service request to target this endpoint.
