Generate Test Data with GenRocket in Data Table
GenRocket generates synthetic data which can be used for software testing purposes, ensuring comprehensive coverage of different data sets for different scenarios without compromising sensitive real-world information. Avo Assure as a Test Automation platform can use Test Data generated from GenRocket.

Prerequisites
Some prerequisites for integrating GenRocket with Avo Assure are:
GenRocket credentials: Ensure to have GenRocket credentials ready
External Id: Ensure the External ID is available when integrating GenRocket with Avo Assure.
Note: The External ID is a unique identifier used to configure Avo Assure with GenRocket to generate synthetic test data for automate Test Case
Avo Assure Client: Ensure Avo Assure Client successfully connected with Avo Assure
GenRocket Configuration in Avo Assure
Avo Assure can be integrated with GenRocket to generate synthetic test data for various testing scenarios.
Navigate to Avo Assure landing page, select Project from Project list
Select Utilities option from the left-hand pane of Avo Assure
Select Test Data Management tab, click Create Folder button, present in middle of the screen
Click Ellipses icon, then click Create Table through GenRocket option to create table
Click GenRocket icon from top right pane of the screen, enter Username, Password and Organization External ID in their respective filled.
Click Get GenRocket Projects button
Select Project from GenRocket Projects dropdown, select Project version from GenRocket Project Version dropdown and select Scenario from GenRocket Scenario dropdown
Click Generate Test Data button to generate table with Test data.
Note: after clicking Generate Test Data button it will take time to generate Table with Test Data
After some time, user can see the Generate Table with Test Data
To apply additional setting for GenRocket in Execution tab user must use Data Parametrization in Test Steps
Refresh Test Data in Execution tab
Navigate to Execution tab
2. Click Add Test Case button to add Test Case from Test Case section 3. Enable the Refresh test data generation toggle button
Note: If the Refresh Test Data Generation toggle is enabled, the test data will refresh before every Test Case execution
If the Refresh Test Data Generation toggle is disabled, the test data will not be refreshed before each Test Case execution
Provide Number in the Number of Records sections to execute the execution list that many times.
Note: In the Number of Records sections by default, the number is selected as one
Click Save button to save the configuration
Go to the Execution folder, then click Execute button from top right pane of the screen
Select the available client from the client dropdown, then click Execute button to execute the Execution list.
After completed execution navigate to report section to view reports.
