Issue with Configuration File Path Replacement During Avo Framework Execution

A new option has been introduced in the Get Param action that allows specific Test Step Groups (TSGs) use their own internal Test Data, even when a global Test Data is set at the execution profile level. This gives users better control by allowing them to decide which parts of a test case use global data and which use local group-specific data

Tagging feature is not present to run only particular Test Cases

With this enhancement, users can group Test Cases under one tag. This makes it easier to find Test Cases with similar names in different user scenarios. Learn more

Bug
Description

Unable to move the selected elements from one repository to another

With this enhancement, the user can select and cut elements from one repository and paste it in required repository. Learn more

Avo client locks local Excel file, forcing creation of temporary files after few edits

With this enhancement, the user will no longer be prompted to create a temporary file and can seamlessly work on and make changes to the existing open Excel file.

Note: Now users can make changes directly in the open Excel file without needing to create a temporary file.

Select checkbox action is not getting displayed format checkbox where the data-el-id is present

This issue has been resolved. Users can now use standard checkboxes instead of mat-checkboxes. The 'Select Checkbox' action will be available for these checkboxes, and the data-el-id from the immediate parent element will also be captured.

Users do not have the flexibility to move the test case folders in and out of the nested structure

This issue has been fixed; A new option has been provided to allow users to move a nested folder directly to the root level. On selecting this option, the folder is moved along with all its subfolders and components, enabling easier folder restructuring.

Element locators are not being saved after renaming — only the last renamed locator is saved

With this enhancement, all captured elements including those renamed before saving will now be saved properly in the repository.

Array variable creation and assignment dynamically is not possible in Avo Assure

The new enhancement allows users to dynamically create and assign array variables. During loop execution, multiple output values are now appended to a single array instead of overwriting previous values.

Excel files placed in the shared network drive are not getting pushed into bitbucket

This issue is resolved now user will be able to push the excel file into Bitbucket without any error.

Avo Genius giving error as Invalid URL for some particular users

This issue has been resolved, and Avo Genius is working as expected.

getcellvalue action is not fetching desired cell value from grid

This issue is fixed and getcellvalue action is fetching appropriate value from the grid.

Search filter is not returning the expected results on the Bitbucket screen

This issue has now been resolved. The search filter is no longer case-sensitive and correctly filters out other test cases based on the search input.

Element attributes are not behaving as expected when attempting more than one action at a time

This issue has now been resolved, and attributes can be saved with multiple edits at a time.

Description

Zephyr Scale

Below are the enhancements in Zephyr Scale:

  • Users will no longer need to log in again while configuring the execution list if they have already integrated with Zephyr Scale in the Manage Integration window. They will be directly navigated to the Zephyr Scale project and Test Plan selection.

  • Zephyr Scale Test Cases can be easily searched and accessed by users without any difficulty.

Orchestration

Below are the enhancements in Orchestration:

  • Previously, only SAFAL step-by-step reports were converted into the Avo Assure report format. With this enhancement, Selenium, TestNG, and Karate step-by-step reports will also be read and converted into the Avo Assure format.

  • If any action from Invoke Platform or Get Orchestration Report fails, an appropriate defect will be logged in Jira.

  • Previously, only the Avo Assure PDF report was attached to the email after execution. Now, both the Avo Assure PDF report and the Selenium report will be shared.

Bitbucket

The Push screen now offers improved control over data files, particularly in multi-environment scenarios. Users can expand a Test Case to view and selectively push individual data files. The previous checkbox method has been removed.

Bitbucket

Reassigning a Test Case under review will now revoke the review status to maintain integrity. A warning will appear, and if confirmed, the test case will be reassigned to its owner.

Bitbucket

The Push screen has been enhanced with a new 'Show Only Modified Test Cases' option. When enabled, it displays only untracked Test Cases, hiding those already pushed and in sync with Bitbucket. This allows users to focus on items pending push.

Bitbucket

A locking mechanism has been introduced. If a Test Case sent for review is reassigned to the user, the review will be revoked. This is useful when multiple users are working on a single Test Case.

Bitbucket

An issue was identified where comparing a Test Case (TC), Execution Result (ER), or Execution Profile (EP) using the Version History feature led to performance delays and slow loading.

This has now been resolved, and the pull and compare has been optimized, it works fast now.

Bitbucket

An issue was identified where the steps on the right side were sometimes mismatched or jumbled compared to those on the left. This has now been resolved, and the functionality is working as expected.

Bitbucket

When a Test Case under review is reassigned (e.g., back to the original owner), the review is now automatically revoked. The test case must be resubmitted for review to maintain review integrity.

Bitbucket

Previously, test cases with file paths from shared drives in the Input Value could not be committed to Bitbucket. This enhancement allows the platform to recognize shared drive paths, ensuring such test cases can be committed without issues.
