# Single Select Parent Of Selected

This is a pre-built action available under the **Captured Tree Element** from the **SAP GUI Application**. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to select the immediate parent node of the currently selected tree node within the SAP GUI.

**Example**

**Selects the Immediate Parent of the Currently Selected Tree Node**

The **SingleSelectParentOfSelected** action does not require any value from the Input Value column. It identifies and selects the immediate parent of the currently selected node in the tree structure.
