Navigate to URL

This is a pre-built Action located under the @Browser Element. The functionality of this Action in Avo Assure is to navigate to the URL specified in the input value. The result of this Action is stored in a dynamic variable for further use during test execution.

Syntax

Input Value: <url>

Argument	Description
<url> (Required)	Provide the web address (URL) to navigate to the target application.

Output Value: <Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)

Argument	Description
<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)	Both dynamic variable stores the status as True or False.

Example: Navigating to a Specified URL in the Browser

In this example, we explain how to navigate to a specific web address using the Navigate to URL action.

• Action: Navigate to URL

• Input Value: https://avotestlab.assure.ai/

  • The input value (https://avotestlab.assure.ai/) specifies the web address to which the browser should navigate. The action directs the already opened browser window to the provided URL.

• Output Value: {Navigate}

  • The result of the navigation operation is stores in this {Navigate} dynamic variable with the following possible values:

    • True: If the navigation to the specified URL is successful.

    • False: If the navigation is not successful.

• Logical Explanation: The Navigate to URL action takes the value from the Input Value column ( https://avotestlab.assure.ai/) and navigates the browser to the specified web address. The result of this navigation process is stored in the {Navigate} variable as true.
