Scroll Vertically

This is a pre-built Action located under the Custom element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure to perform a vertical scroll operation on the grid’s scrollable section provided in the input value, and save the result in dynamic variable.

Syntax

Input Value:<ObjectType>;<VisibleText(optional)>;<Index>;<Direction>;<No. of Scrolls>;<abs(optional)>

Argument	Description
<ObjectType> (Required)	Specify the type of object (e.g., Grid)
<VisibleText> (Optional)	Enter the visible text on the object
<Index> (Required)	Provide the position of the element, which helps to identify the value based on the sequence in list . (starting from 0)​
<Direction> (Required)	Provide the scroll direction: up or down
<No. of Scrolls> (Required)	Number of times to perform the vertical scroll
<abs> (Optional)	If the abs is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the absolute X path

Note: To skip an optional input value, use an extra semicolon (;).

Output Value

Argument	Description
<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)	This dynamic variable stores the result of the operation as True or False

Example

Performs vertical scrolling on a specified Grid in the defined direction and number of scrolls

The Scroll Vertically action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., Grid;;0;down;2) and scrolls the specified object vertically in the given direction for the defined number of scrolls. The result of the scrolling operation is stored in the {Scroll} variable, with the following possible values:

• True – if the grid is scrolled successfully.

• False – if scrolling fails.
