verifyWebImages
This is a pre-built Action located under the Custom element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure to compare the image on the web page specified in the input against the image path provided, and save the result in dynamic variable.
Syntax
Input Value:<ObjectType>;<VisibleText(optional)>;<Index>;<ImagePath>;<abs(optional)>
<ObjectType> (Required)
Specify the type of object (e.g., Image)
<VisibleText> (Optional)
Enter the visible text on the object
<Index> (Required)
Provide the index of the object inside the page
<ImagePath> (Required)
Path of the image to be compared with the web image
<abs> (Optional)
If the abs is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the absolute X path
Note: Image path refers to the location of the image that is to be compared with the one specified in the Input Value column.
To skip an optional input value, use an extra semicolon (;).
Output Value
<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)
This dynamic variable stores the result of the verification as True or False
Example
Validates the image displayed in a specified object on the web page against the expected image
The Verify Web Images action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., ImageObject;;0;C:\TestImages\Logo.png) and compares the image rendered on the page with the provided reference image path. The result of the image comparison is stored in the {Verify} variable, with the following possible values:
True – if the image matches the expected reference image.
False – if the image does not match
