Click on Object
This is a pre-built Action located under the Custom element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure to click on the object as specified in the input value, and save the result in dynamic variable.
Syntax
Input Value:<ObjectType>;<VisibleText(optional)>;<Index>;<abs(optional)>
<ObjectType> (Required)
Specify the type of object (e.g., button)
<VisibleText> (optional)
Enter the visible text on the object
<Index> (Required)
Provide the position of the element, which helps to identify the value based on the sequence in list . (starting from 0)
<abs> (Optional)
If the abs is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the absolute X path
Note: To skip an optional input value, use an extra semicolon (;).
Output Value
<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable>(Optional)
This dynamic variable stores the result of the operation as True or False
Example
Performs a click operation on the specified UI element on the application under test
The Click on Object action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., Button;Log In;0) and performs a click on the defined object. The result of the click operation is stored in the {Click} variable, with the following possible values:
True – if the object is clicked successfully.
False – if clicking fails.
