Select Checkbox
This is pre-built Action located under the @Custom Element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure to perform a click action on the checkbox to make it as selected specified in the input and save the result in dynamic variable.
Syntax
Input Value: <Object Type>;<VisibleText(Optional)>;<index>;<abs(optional)>
Argument
Description
<Object Type> (Required)
Specific type of object to be selected.
<VisibleText> (Optional)
The visible text associated with the object.
<index>
(Required)
Provide the position of the element, which helps to identify the value based on the sequence in list . (starting from 0)
<abs> (Optional)
If the abs is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the absolute X path
Note: If last argument abs is defined then the Action must be executed with absolute preformation with the specified visible text in the input.
To skip an optional input value, use an extra semicolon (;).

This variable holds the status of the action as True or False.
Example 1
Selects a specified checkbox on the application interface
The Select Checkbox action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., checkbox;;0) and selects the defined checkbox. The result of the selection operation is stored in the {Checkbox} variable as True or False

Example 2
Selects a specified checkbox on the application interface using optional parameter
The Select Checkbox action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., checkbox;accept;0;//*[@id="flexCheckDefault"]) and selects the defined checkbox. The result of the selection operation is stored in the {Checkbox} variable as True or False
