Unselect Checkbox

This pre-built Action is located under the @Custom Element. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure to unselect the checkbox specified in the input, and save the result in dynamic variable.

Syntax

Input Value: <Object Type>;<VisibleText(Optional)>;<index>;<abs(optional)>

Argument	Description
<Object Type> (Required)	Specific type of object to be selected.
<VisibleText> (Optional)	The visible text associated with the object.
<index> (Required)	Provide the position of the element, which helps to identify the value based on the sequence in list . (starting from 0)​
<abs> (Optional)	If the abs is provided, the action is performed with absolute identification using the absolute X path

Note: If last argument abs is defined then the Action must be executed with absolute preformation with the specified visible text in the input.

Make sure that the checkbox on which user is executing this Action should be selected.

To skip an optional input value, use an extra semicolon (;).

Output Value

Argument	Description
<Dynamic Variable>(Optional);<Dynamic Variable> (Optional)	This variable holds the status of the action as True or False.

Example 1

Removes the selection from a specified checkbox on the application interface

The Unselect Checkbox action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., Checkbox;;0) and unselects the defined checkbox. The result of the uncheck operation is stored in the {Checkbox} variable as True or False.

Example 2

Removes the selection from a specified checkbox on the application interface using with optional parameter

The Unselect Checkbox action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., checkbox;accept;0;//*[@id="flexCheckDefault"]) and unselects the defined checkbox. The result of the uncheck operation is stored in the {Checkbox} variable as True or False.
