Bug Fixes and Improvements
Refer to the table below to learn more about the bugs addressed along with the respective benefits.
Primary roles are not being updated even when changed manually.
When a user's role is changed based on the project-level role in Manage Users, the primary role remained the same, and the modifications did not reflect. This issue has been resolved.
Dynamic variable doesn't support creation of an Array variable
Users can now create dynamic array variables that can store different data types, such as strings, numbers, and Booleans.
Execution list configurations are not saving
While editing the configuration of the Execution list through the Execute Now window, the "Save Changes" popup appeared, but its Save button was not working. This issue has now been resolved.
Create Dynamic Variable action
In this enhancement, when a user creates a dynamic variable and uses it to store output values during loop execution, if there is more than one value, they are appended and stored in a single variable as an array, instead of being overwritten as before.
CT Enhancement
Jira
Zephyr Test Cases will be linked to manually created defects
Previously, defects were linked to Zephyr Scale Test Cases only when Auto Defect Creation was performed. With this enhancement, defects created manually will also be linked.
Orchestration
Branch name can be added in syntax while pulling selenium/SAFAL/TestNG/Cucumber/Karate Test Case from Bitbucket
To pull selenium/ SAFAL/ TestNG/ Cucumber/ Karate scripts from Bitbucket user can use Invoke Platform action. Within this action, user can specify the Bitbucket repository path and the branch name. This allows user to pull the scripts from Bitbucket to local system, from where they will be invoked for execution.
Bit Bucket
Only one Test Case is pulled when trying to pull multiple Test Cases
The user must be on the dashboard page; only then the system will correctly redirect to the related Test Case via the notification tab.
When pulling multiple element repository from Bitbucket into a new folder, separate folders are created for each Test Case despite originating from the same repository, and an error popup appears during the process.
Test Steps order changes in the compare window while comparing Test Case
Unable to pull Execution Profile which have Grid execution mode
Work In Progress
We hope these changes in Avo Assure version 25.2.5 enhance your experience with the platform.
