Log a Bug

Logging a bug in Avo helps in maintaining a track of bugs by logging a bug in report summary section with help of defect management tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.

Steps to log a bug

1. Navigate to reports and click on Test case details

2. Click View reports icon to navigate to the Result summary window

3. Click bug icon present from defects column and select the required defect management tool to log the bug

4. Enter the valid credentials to login with Jira and click on connect

5. Click Connect button to successfully logging into Jira, again click Jira icon from the defect column

6. Map the bug with respective Jira project by entering all the mandatory details in Configure field

7. Click Proceed button to get a unique defect ID in the defect column of the result summary window

8. Click on Defect ID to directly navigate inside Jira and check the status of the bug or we can login to Jira separately
