SAML Configuration

Updating an existing SAML configuration in Avo Assure is a straightforward process designed to help you modify your existing SAML settings to accommodate changes or improvements to your security infrastructure. This capability allows Avo Assure administrators to ensure that the integration with SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) services remains functional and secure.

Create SAML Configuration

  1. The admin has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen and log in to Avo Assure with valid Avo Assure Admin credentials.

  2. The user has to click the SAML Configuration button, and the Create SAML Configuration window will be displayed.

  3. The user has to enter the server name in the Enter Server Name field.

  4. The user has to enter the single sign-on URL in the Enter Single Sign On URL field. For more information on single sign-on URL, refer to the section Creating and Configuring SAML App in Okta.

  5. The user has to enter the issue details in the Enter Issue Details field. For more information on issue details, refer to the section Creating and Configuring SAML App in Okta.

  6. To upload the certificate, the user has to click the Choose button. Choose the downloaded certificate from the system folder and click the Open button. For more information on downloading the certificate, refer to the section Creating and Configuring SAML App in Okta.

  7. The user has to click the Create button, and a toast message will be displayed informing that the configuration was created successfully.

Update SAML Configuration

  1. To update the SAML configuration, the admin has to click the Edit button.

  2. Select the name specified for any previous SAML configuration to edit its configuration details. The admin has to select the server name from the Select Server drop-down.

  3. If required, edit the configuration details (Single Sign-On URL, Issuer, and Certificate).

  4. To update the changed SAML configuration, the admin has to click the Update button.

Delete SAML Configuration

  1. To delete the SAML configuration, the admin has to click the Edit button.

  2. Select the name specified for any previous SAML configuration to delete its configuration details. The admin has to select the server name from the Select Server drop-down.

  3. To delete an existing SAML configuration, the admin has to click the Delete button.
