Loggin an Issue

Issue logging involves reporting a bug and providing a detailed description to clarify the problem.

Step-by-step process to log issue in Avo Assure are:

Navigate to landing page of Avo Assure

1. Select project and click View Reports button to navigate to Reports window

  1. Click Test Case Details button to bring up Run Details window

  1. Click View Report to navigate to Result Summary window

  1. Click > arrow and expand Test Step group, click Bug icon in Defect column and select Jira to bring up login pop up on screen

  1. Enter credentials and URL then click Connect button. This will change bug icon to Jira icon

  1. Click Jira icon in Defect column to bring up Create Issue pop window on the screen

  1. Select Jira Project, Issue Type, and Configure Field from their respective dropdowns

Note:

For more detailed report, click Configure Fields dropdown and select more option.

  1. Enter bug’s Description, Summary, Reporter, Environment and click Proceed button.

  1. After clicking proceed button, the Jira icon changes into Defect Id

  2. Click the Defect Id to directly navigate to the Jira website and view the logged bug
