Issue Logging

Now let's understand the step-by-step process to log a Jira issue using Avo Assure

After project mapping in Jira with Avo Assure, perform the following steps to log an issue on Jira using Avo Assure reports.

1. Navigate to the landing page of Avo Assure and click the Reports button to view test reports

1. Expand the Test Steps and click on View Reports

You will navigate to the Result Summary window.

1. Expand the Test Step -> Click on the bug icon in the Defect column and click on Jira

The Login pop-up will appear on the screen.

1. Enter the Username, API Key/Password and the Jira URL and click the Connect button

After clicking on connect button you will notice that the bug icon will change to the Jira icon.

1. Click the Jira icon and you will see the Create Issue pop-up window appear on the screen; select the Issue Type , enter Description of the bug ,enter Summary of the bug and enter Environment à and click Proceed

For further detailed reports, click the Configure Fields dropdown and select more options.

As you click proceed, the Jira icon changes into Defect Id

Click the Defect id (to directly navigate to the Jira website and see the logged bug)
