5. Advanced Upgrade Analyzer
Why was this developed?
In earlier versions of Avo Assure, when the product/platform is upgraded, if the element's position in the UI changes, its properties are also changed. In UI, there might be no difference, but the identification of elements fails during debugging/execution.
What is the goal?
The Avo Assure team has enhanced the Upgrade Analyzer feature, allowing it to identify changed elements and automatically replace the not found elements. After analyzing the screen using the 'Analyze Screen' feature, the user will receive comprehensive information about the changed and unchanged elements, as well as the Not Found Elements. For the Not Found Elements, the user will be prompted with a 'Replace' button, allowing them to find and replace these missing elements with the newly identified ones.
How does it look?
How does it work?
The user has to capture the elements. For more information on capturing the elements, refer to the section Capture Elements.
The user has to click the Analyze Screen button, and the Analyze Screen dialog box will be displayed.
The user has to select the required browser, and the selected browser will display the Avo Assure object identification window. Note: Avo Assure Client will automatically navigate to the Previous URL used during object identification.
The user has to enter the product's modified URL in the URL box, and the Avo client will navigate to the modified URL.
To start comparing, the user has to click the Start Compare button.
After analyzing, the Avo Assure client will navigate to the Capture window.
If there are complete changes in the object properties, the Avo Assure client will display the Not Found Objects.
The user has to click the Replace Element button, and the Replace Element window will be displayed.
To map the not found elements, the user has to drag them from the Not Found Elements section and drop them into the New Capture Elements section.
To unlink selected objects, the user has to click the Un-Map button.
The user has to click the Save button, and a toast message Not Found Elements has been successfully Replaced will be displayed.
How can I get this?
If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.4, this feature will be available automatically.
