15. Import and Export of Module

Any existing test data (such as mind maps, object repositories, and test steps) could not be reused for any new projects in the earlier version of Avo Assure. This will let users import and export mindmaps and related artifacts from one project to another.
The user has to click the Design button from the Avo Assure home screen.
The Design window will display. The user has to select the project from the Project dropdown. Note: The modules present in the project will be displayed.
The user has to select the required number of modules to export, and the user has to click the Export button. Note: The user can select all the modules in the Select All Modules check box.
The Export Mindmap window will display. The user has to select the Export To File radio button from the export mindmap window.
Note: The user can Export the Module in the required format as mentioned below.
Structure only - Custom (.json)
Structure only – Excel (. xsx,. xslx)
Complete Module(s) (.mm)
The user has to select the export format from the Select Export Format dropdown.
The user has to enter the file name in the File Name box and click the Export button. The system will display a toast message as Data Exported Successfully. Note: The exported module will be downloaded in the downloads folder.
The user must click the + (Add) icon and then the Import Module button. Import Modules window will be displayed.
Select the import form from the Select Import Format box.
Note:a) The user can Export the Module in the required format as mentioned below
Structure only – Excel (.xls, .xlsx) to import Excel format
Complete Module(s) (.mm) to import Module format
Structure only – Selenium To Avo (.sel) to import Selenium format.
b) To import the complete module, the user has to select an empty project.
If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.0, this feature will be available automatically.
