Creating CloudALM project in Avo Assure

Ensure you have a project in Avo Assure and map its Testcases to that of SAP Cloud ALM for testing.

Navigate to the Avo Assure home screen
Click on the '+' icon beside the ALL PROJECTS section in the left sidebar
Fill in the following details under the Create Project section
Project Name - related to the project you are working on
Application Type - select SAP from the drop-down list
Select Users - to grant project access to team members involved
Click on the Create button, once done
Navigate to the Avo Assure home screen
Select your project
Click on Element Repository to capture elements, under the Overview section
Click on Create Repository
Enter the Repository Name
Click on the Save button
Click on the Capture button to start capturing elements in the created repository; a dialog box will prompt you to enter the local path name of the SAP application
Select the corresponding path of the SAP Application
Note: Ensure your Avo Assure Client is operational to access the SAP Application via Avo Assure.
Click Launch; the SAP Application will be launched and you will be prompted to capture your elements
Select settings as per your need and click Start capture
Note: In this case, we have used the Click and Add method. You may capture as per your requirement.
Click Stop capture, once done; view the captured elements
Click Save
Include Test Steps from the Captured elements list and customize it according to your requirements
Click the Save button
Debug the Test Steps to check the accuracy of their functionality
