Why Was This Developed?
The testcase assignment feature was developed to streamline the process of allocating test cases to appropriate team members. This ensures clear accountability, comprehensive test coverage, and efficient execution of testing activities, helping to identify and address issues more effectively.
What Is The Goal?
The testcase assignment feature assigns test cases to specific individuals or roles within the testing team. This ensures comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution.
How Does It Work?
The testcase assignment feature typically involves assigning test cases to specific individuals or roles within a testing team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient test execution.
Note: The Assign Testcase feature is accessible only for the 'Quality Manager Role.'
The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.
The user has to select the Project from the All Projects list.
The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio window will be displayed.
To assign the required Testcase, the user must select the required Test Suite from the list.
The user has to click the Test Suite icon to get the context menu.
To assign a testcase, the user has to click the Assign Testcase button, and the Assign Testcase window will be displayed. Note: The user can view all the Testcases related to the Test Suite.
The manager must search, select the user, and click the Save button.
To save the 'Mindmap,' the user has to click the Save button.
How Can I Get This?
If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 24.1.0, this feature will be available automatically. If you are not part of this particular version, 24.1.0, contact Avoproductsupport@Avoautomation.com to get this version.
