06. Unlock Test Suites

Why Was This Developed?

Occasionally, users may forget to exit the test suite after finishing their work, making it inaccessible to other users. To address this, the admin can now forcibly unlock these test suites as necessary. This ensures uninterrupted workflow for users, allowing them to continue their work smoothly without any disruptions.

What is the Goal?

The Unlock Test Suites feature allows the admin to unlock test suites forcibly, ensuring an uninterrupted workflow for all users. By addressing this bottleneck, the feature plays a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of projects shared among multiple users.

How Does It Work?

For instance, when a project is shared among multiple users, if the first user begins using the test suite, others can only view it in read-only mode or occasionally, users may forget to exit the test suite after finishing their work, making it inaccessible to other users. In such cases, the Locked Test Suites feature allows admins to forcibly unlock test suites, ensuring all users can access shared projects seamlessly.

1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure login screen.

2. The user has to enter the valid Avo Assure Admin credentials and click the Login button, and the Avo Assure admin window will be displayed.

3. The user has to click the Locked_TestSuites button, and the Locked_TestSuites window will be displayed.

4. To unlock the test suite, the admin has to click the Unlock icon. Note: The admin can also search by TestSuite or Username to unlock the test suite.

5. The Avo Assure Client will display a toast message stating that TestSuite was successfully unlocked.

How can I get this?

If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 24.0.1, this feature will be available automatically. If you are not part of this particular version, 24.0.1, contact [e-mail] to get this version.
