Element Identification - SAP Application

Click and Add Elements

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the SAP Application project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the SAP dialog box be displayed.

  6. The user has to enter the .exe path; App Name, in the SAP dialog box and click the Launch button.

  7. The SAP Element Identification window will be displayed.

  8. The user has to click the Start button. Note: During scraping via the Click and Add method, when hovering over objects in the Application Under Test (AUT), the hovered-upon object is highlighted with a Red border. This highlighting helps the user identify the object that will be scraped upon clicking.

  9. The user has to capture the required elements.

  10. Once the user is done with the capture element, then the user has to click the Stop button.

  11. All the captured elements will be displayed on the Capture Elements window.

  12. The user has to click the Save button to save all the captured elements. Note: Unsaved elements will be indicated with highlighted color. 

  13. The system will display a toast message as Scraped data saved successfully.

Capture an Entire Webpage

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the SAP Application project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the SAP dialog box be displayed.

  6. The user has to enter the .exe path; App Name, in the SAP dialog box and click the Launch button.

  7. The SAP Element Identification window will be displayed.

  8. The user has to select Full from the Scrape Type drop-down and click the Capture button.

  9. All the captured elements will be displayed on the Capture Elements window.

  10. The user has to click the Save button to save all the captured elements. Note: Unsaved elements will be indicated with highlighted color. 

  11. The system will display a toast message as Scraped data saved successfully.
