2. Avo Genius
Why was this developed?
Avo Genius is a smart recorder that helps the user to create test scenarios automatically as the user navigate through applications. Avo Genius will enable technical and non-technical users to design and test quickly and with minimal effort.
How does it look?
How does it work?
The user has to click the Avo Genius plugin from the Avo Assure homepage, as shown below.
Welcome To Avo Genius window will display as shown below.
The user has to select the project from the Select project drop-down, as shown below. Note: If there is any existing project, the user can select the project.
The user has to select the module from the Select module drop-down, as shown below. Note: If there is any existing module, the user can select the module.
The user has to click the Create Module button and the system will display Create Module window, as shown below.
The user has to enter the module name in the Enter Module Name box and click the Create button.
The user has to select the scenario from the Select scenario drop-down, as shown below. Note: If there is any existing scenario, the user can select the scenario.
The user has to click the Create Scenario button, and the system will display Create Scenario window as shown below.
The user has to enter the scenario name in the Enter Scenario Name box and click the Create button.
The user has to select the application type from the Select Application Type drop-down list, as shown below.
The user has to enter the navigation URL in the Enter Navigation URL box, as shown below.
If the user wants to download the Genius Extension, click the extension link, as shown below. Graphical user interface, text, application Description automatically generated
If the user wants to clear the entered details, the user has to click the Reset button as shown below.
After entering the required data, the user has to click the Next button.
Avo Genius recording home page will display, and the user has to click the Activate Genius button as shown below. Note: The user can edit the Scenario title as per the requirement.

Once the user clicks Activate Genius button, The system will generate a toast message, as shown below.
Once the recording has been stated, the entered URL will be opened in the default browser, as shown below.
The user will work on the application on the left side, and the automation completion will display on the right, as shown below.
The user has to click the Pause button to pause the automation. The system will generate a toast message, as shown below.
The user can move the step above and below, with the help of 3-line icon. The user has to drag and drop the step at the required step above and below.
After completion of the recording, the user has to click the Stop button. The system will display Confirm window as shown below. If the user wants to stop the work, the user must click the Yes button. If the user does not want to stop the work, the user must click the No button.
Once the user stops the work, the system will generate a toast message, as shown below.
The user has to click the three dots icon to access the context menu, as shown below.
The user has to click the Copy button to copy the test step. And the system will display a toast message, as shown below. Note: The user can copy and paste the required step into the required screen.

The user has to click the Edit Test Step button to edit the required test step. And the system will display Edit Test Step window, click the Save button as shown below.
Once the user saves the edit test step, the system will generate a toast message, as shown below.
The user has to click the Delete Test Step button to delete the test step. And the system will display Confirm window, as shown below. If the user wants to delete the test step, click the Yes button. If the user does not want to delete the test step, click the No button.
The user has to click the Insert Test Step Above button to insert the test step above. And the system will display Add New Test Step window, and click the Save button, as shown below.

The user has to click the Mindmap icon to view the mindmap. And the system will display mindmap window, as shown below.
The user has to click the Run Test Step icon to start the execution. The system will start execution as shown below.
The user has to click the Close icon to close the Avo Genius.
The system will display Confirm window as shown below. If the user wants to close the Genius, the user must click the Yes button. If the user does not want to close the Genius, the user must click the No button.
How can I get this?
If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.0, this feature will be available automatically.
