What is Non-Avo Scripts?
Non-Avo scripts are automation scripts created using automation tools outside the Avo Assure ecosystem. It's possible that these scripts were created using different scripting languages or approaches compared to Avo requirements.
Avo Script Conversion Feature
The Avo Script Conversion feature within Avo Assure allows transferring the existing automation scripts from non-Avo tools into the Avo Assure environment, thus streamlining the automation process using Avo Genius extension.
Avo Genius extension is designed to recognize patterns and logic from the user's current automation scripts and translating them into a compatible format to be used within Avo Assure.
Pre-requisites
Some prerequisites to follow for using the Avo Script conversion feature are:
Web Browser: Ensure to have latest version of Microsoft Edge in your system
Python Portable Avo Assure Client: Converts non-Avo automation scripts to Avo-compatible scripts
Prepare your scripts:, review your existing scripts before conversion to note the custom code or unique functionalities that might need special attention during conversion
Avo Genius Extension: Have the Avo Genius extension installed and added in the browser to avail enhances functionality and interactivity with the Avo platform
