Element Identification - Oracle E-Business Suite

Prerequisites

  • The Application under test (AUT) must be up and running.

  • The Application under test (AUT) must have sufficient privileges for automation.

  • To Scrape the OEBS application, the user must run Run_OEBS Avo Assure Client.

Click and Add Objects

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the OEBS Application project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio screen will be displayed.

  4. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Launch Application window will be displayed.

  6. The user has to enter the window in the Enter window Name field.

  7. The user has to click the Launch button. The AvoAssure OEBS Scraper window and the entered OEBS application will be displayed.

  8. The user has to click the Start ClickAndAdd button, and the user has to capture the required elements.

  9. Once the user completes the capture element, the user has to click the Stop ClickAndAdd button.

  10. All the captured elements will be displayed on the Capture Elements window.

  11. The user has to click the Save button to save all the captured elements.

  12. The system will display a toast message as Scraped data saved successfully.

Scrape an Entire Webpage

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the OEBS Application project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Launch Application window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to enter the window in the Enter window Name field.

  6. The user has to click the Launch button. The AvoAssure OEBS Scraper window and the entered OEBS application will be displayed.

  7. The user has to select Full from the Scrape Type drop-down and click the Scrape button.

  8. All the captured elements will be displayed on the Capture Elements window.

  9. The user has to click the Save button to save all the captured elements.

  10. The system will display a toast message as Scraped data saved successfully.
