12. Upgrade Analyzer

Why was this developed?

In the previous version of the Avo assure, the user has to read the requirements and do the entire mindmap creation, object identification, redesigning the test cases, and End to End.Now, Avo Assure team has developed upgrade analyzer with which the user can pick the accommodate the delta changes of the application under test.The user will be using Analyze Screen and Replace Object which are existing functionality of Avo Assure to demonstrate how the user can handle that delta changes of the product.

How does it work?

Analyze Screen

Analyze Screen feature, used to compare already identified elements with their current properties on the web page and update the required elements.

1. The user has to click the Analyze Screen button in capture elements window.

2. Analyze Screen window will display as shown below.

3. The user has to click the required browser.

4. The selected browser will display Avo Assure object identification window, as shown below. Note: Avo Assure Client will automatically navigate to the last URL used during object identification.

5. The user has to enter the updated url of the product in the URL box and Avo client will navigate to the url as shown below.

6. The user has to click the Start Compare button to start comparing.

7. After completion of comparing, the Avo Assure client will navigate to the capture window, as shown below.

8. If there are any changes in the object properties, the Avo Assure client will display the Changed objects window. No changes in the object properties, the Avo Assure client will display the Unchanged objects window. Complete changes in the object properties, the Avo Assure client will display the Not Found Objects window, as shown below.

Replace Element

Replace element feature is used to replace the existing scraped objects with new scraped objects.

1. The user has to click the Replace Element button in the capture element window.

2. Replace Element window will display as shown below.

3. The user has to click the browser on which new elements are to capture.

4. Once the browser is selected, a AvoAssure Object Identification window will display, as shown below.

5. The user has to enter the updated url of the product in the URL box and Avo client will navigate to the url as shown below

6. The user has to click the Start ClickAndAdd button to scrape the new elements, as shown below.

7. The user has to click the Stop ClickAndAdd button, after completion of new element scraping, as shown below.

8. Replace Object window will display as shown below.

9. The user has to drag the objects from Scraped Objects and to place on the New Scraped Objects, as shown below. Note: On replacing objects, the system will update the replaced object’s properties with the properties of the newly scraped object (including the object name).

10. If the user doesn't want to link the selected objects, the user has to click the Un-Map button to unlink, as shown below.

11. After completion of object replacement user has to click the Replace Keywords button, as shown below.

12. If required user has to change the keyword and click the Save button as shown below.

13. The system will display a Warning window, if the user wants to continue then user has to click the OK button, as shown below.

14. The system will display a toast message as shown below.

How can I get this?

If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.0, this feature will be available automatically.
