LDAP Configuration

Steps to perform LDAP Configuration

Requirements

LDAP server with a valid SSL certificate

Create LDAP Configuration

1. Login into Avo Assure with admin credentials

2. Navigate to Admin tab

3. Click Authentication Configuration > LDAP Configuration

4. Enter details to fill the required field, in the LDAP Configuration page

• Server Name: Enter name of Server in Server Name Field

• Base Domain Name: Enter the base domain name in Base Domain Name Field

• Secure Connection: Select the secure connection radio button SSL Enable/Disable/Enable Insecure

• TLS Certificate: Upload TLS Certificate

• Authentication: Anonymous or Simple (provide details of user performing the bind)

Bind Principal: User name of person performing the bind in Bind Principal Field

Bind Credentials: Password of Bind Principal in Bind Credential Field

Data Mapping Settings

The Dropdowns will be populated on click of Test with successful Connection of:

• Username

• Firstname

• Lastname

• Email

1. Click Create button

Edit LDAP Configuration

1. Login into Avo Assure with admin credentials

2. Navigate to Admin tab from the left pane of the screen

3. Click Authentication Configuration> LDAP Configuration.

4. In the LDAP Configuration page

5. Click Edit button to enable editing

1. Select the server from the dropdown

• Update: Edit required Parameters and click Update

• Delete: Click to delete server configuration
