In Sprint Automation

In Sprint automation, the user can create Test cases by looking at the user stories by creating the proxy elements which will be later mapped to the real elements which are captured; after the application is complete, actual elements can be captured and mapped with the proxy elements.

Add Proxy Element

Create similar types of elements from user story that can be mapped to actual elements.

Note: Proxy Label is not shown in Test Steps.

The step-by-step process to add proxy element in Avo Assure are:

1. Navigate to Design Studio, click on the screen node then select Element Repository from the context menu

2. Click Expand Action icon and then Add Element (In Sprint Automation) to bring up add element window

3. In the Add Element window, select Element Type from the dropdown list, and enter element name.

Click the Add Elements button to add the element and Click Save to save the added element

Note: Added Element will Appear in the right-side panel

Click Save button to save the newly added element in the Element Repository now you can see how the proxy element looks like in the repository.

Map Element

The step-by-step process to Map an element in Avo Assure are:

1. Navigate to the Design Studio, click on the screen node then select Element Repository from the context menu

2. Click Expand Action icon à Map Element (In Sprint Automation)

3. In the Map Element window, drag and drop required captured element to Custom Elements (Proxy Elements), and click Submit

Note: Filter captured elements by clicking the type of element in Custom Elements.

Click Show All Element to view all the elements which are new
