In Sprint Automation

In Insprint automation functionality, the user can create test cases by looking at the user stories; after the application is complete, the user can capture the actual element and map.

Add Element

This functionality can be used to create prototype elements that can be mapped to actual elements.

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio Screen will be displayed.

  3. To get the screen context menu, the user has to click the Screen icon.

  4. To capture the elements, the user has to click the Capture Elements button. The Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to click the Add Element button, and the Add Element dialog box will be displayed.

  6. The user has to select the element type from the Select Element Type drop-down.

  7. The user has to enter the element name in the Enter Element Name field.

  8. The user has to click the '+' (Add) icon, and the added element will be displayed. Note: The user can add the required elements according to the requirements.

  9. The user has to repeat the process as per the requirement.

  10. To clear the added elements, the user has to click the Clear button.

  11. To save the elements, the user has to click the Save button.

Map Element

This functionality maps prototype elements created with the 'Add Element' feature with identified elements.

  1. To capture the actual elements, the user has to click the Add more checkbox. The Capture Element dialog box will be displayed.

  2. The user has to select the required browser from the List of Browsers list and click the Capture button.

  3. The Avo Assure Object Identification window will be displayed. The user has to enter the URL in the URL field and click the Navigate button.

  4. To capture the elements, the user has to click the Start ClickAndAdd button.

  5. The user has to click and capture the Actual Elements.

  6. After capturing the actual elements, the user has to click the Stop ClickAndAdd button.

  7. The Captured Actual Elements will be displayed. The user has to click the Save button.

  8. To map the actual elements, the user has to click the Map Element button, and the Map Element window will be displayed.

  9. To view the custom elements, the user has to click the custom elements drop-down.

  10. To Map the actual captured elements, the user has to drag and drop the Captured Elements to Custom Elements.

  11. To un-link the linked captured elements, the user has to click the Un-Link button.

  12. To view all the captured elements, the user has to click the Show All Elements button.

  13. Once the mapping elements are completed, the user has to click the Submit button.

  14. The mapped elements will be displayed, and the user has to click the Save button.
