5. Mapping an Avo Test Script to an ADO Testcase

Why Was This Developed?

In earlier versions of Avo Assure, the user could not map the testcase with the Avo Scenarios.

What Is The Goal?

The Avo Assure team has enhanced the Azure DevOps feature, allowing users to map user stories and test cases with Avo scenarios. Additionally, users can raise a bug, and the link to the corresponding test case will be automatically attached to that bug for better traceability.

How Does It Look?

How Does It Work?

  1. From the Azure tests section, the user has to select the project from the Select Project drop-down to map the test plans.

  2. From the select WorkItems drop-down, the user has to select the Test Plans.

  3. The user has to select the UserStory from the required test Suite.

  4. From the Avo Assure Scenarios Section, the user has to select the Project from the Select Project drop-down.

  5. The user has to select the Scenario.

  6. To synchronize the user story, the user has to click the Synchronize icon and click the Save button.

  7. To view the mapped files, the user has to click the View Mapped Files button. The Mapped files window will be displayed.

  8. To unsynchronize the user story, the user has to click the Unsynchronize icon and click the Save button.

How can I get this?

If the user upgrades to the latest version of Avo Assure to 23.1.5, this feature will be available automatically.
