Upgrade Analyzer

The Upgrade Analyzer feature enables users to manage delta changes in the application under test. Users can demonstrate how to adapt delta changes in the product by utilizing current Avo Assure functions such as Analyze Screen and Replace Element.

Compare Elements

The Compare Elements functionality allows users to compare previously identified elements to their current properties on the web page and update the necessary elements.

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio window will be displayed.

  3. To get the screen context menu, the user has to click the Screen icon.

  4. The user has to click the Capture Elements button, and the Capture Elements window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to click the Compare Element button, and the Select Browser window will be displayed.

  6. The user has to select the required browser and click the Compare button.

  7. The selected browser will display the Avo Assure Object Identification window. Note: Avo Assure Client will automatically navigate to the Previous URL used during element identification.

  8. The user has to enter the Product's Modified URL in the URL box, and the Avo Client will navigate to the modified URL.

  9. To start comparing, the user has to click the Start Compare button.

  10. After comparing, the user has to navigate to the Capture Elements window.

  11. If there are any changes in the element properties, the Avo Assure client will display the Changed Elements.

  12. The Avo Assure client will display the Not Found Elements if there are complete changes in the element properties.

  13. Suppose there are no changes in the element properties. The Avo Assure client will display the Unchanged Elements.

  14. To replace the Not Found Elements, the user has to click the Replace button.

  15. The user has to click on the Newly Scraped Elements type to expand the newly captured elements type.

  16. To map the not found elements, the user has to drag them from the Not Found Elements section and drop them into the Newly Captured Elements section.

  17. To view all the not found elements, the user has to click the Show All Elements button.

  18. To un-link mapped the elements, the user has to select the element and click the Un-Link button. Click the Submit button.

  19. The user has to select the required Changed Elements and click the Update button.

  20. A toast message will be displayed as Elements Updated Successfully.

Replace Element

The Replace Element feature is used to replace existing captured elements with newly captured elements.

  1. The user has to click the Replace Element button, and the Select Browser window will be displayed.

  2. The user has to select the Browser on which new elements have to be captured.

  3. The user has to click the Replace button, and the AvoAssure Object Identification window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to enter the updated product URL in the URL box and click the Navigate button.

  5. To capture the elements, the user has to click the Start ClickAndAdd button.

  6. The user has to click and capture the required elements.

  7. After capturing the new elements, the user has to click the Stop ClickAndAdd button.

  8. After capturing, the user has to navigate to the Capture Elements window.

  9. To expand the newly captured element type, the user has to click on the Element Type.

  10. To map the newly captured elements, the user has to drag them from the Captured Elements section and drop them into the New Captured Elements section.

  11. To un-link mapped elements, the user has to select the element.

  12. The user has to click the Un-Link button.

  13. After completing the elements replacement, the user has to click the Replace Keywords button.

  14. If required, the user has to change the keyword and click the Save button.

  15. The Newly captured data was replaced successfully.

  16. The user has to click the Save button.
