Upgrade Analyzer

Upgrade analyzer enables users to manage changes in the application under test at a Screen Level. Users can demonstrate how to adapt delta changes in the product by utilizing current Avo Assure functions such as Analyze Screen and Replace Element.

Compare Elements

1. Navigate to the Element Repository in Design Studio

2. Click Expand Action Panel > Compare Element (Upgrade Analyzer)

3. Select the required Browser in Select Browser window

4. Enter new URL of the application in the URL textbox in the browser launched by client

Note: Avo Assure Client will automatically navigate to the Previous URL used during element identification.

5. Click Start Compare to compare already captured element

6. After comparison, in the compare elements window the element gets updated successfully

Unchanged Element

Elements whose properties have not been changed.

Changed Element

Elements whose properties have been changed.

Not Found Element

Elements whose properties have completely been changed

Newly Scraped Elements:

Elements which have been captured.

Replace Element

The steps to replace an element from an existing element are:

1. Navigate to the Element Repository in Design Studio

2. Click Expand Action Panel > Replace Element (Upgrade Analyzer)

3. Select the required Browser in Select Browser window, this will bring up the Avo Assure Object Identification window on the screen

4. Enter the updated product URL in the URL box and click the Navigate button

5. Capture the new elements

6. Map the captured elements to New Captured Elements by Dragging captured element and dropping it in the respective New Captured Element

7. Click Replace Keywords to make the change. If required, the user must change the keyword and click Save.
