TestRail Testcase Mapping

After Login, a toast message ‘TestRail login successful’ and Mapping window appears on the screen

In mapping window any projects of TestRail can be selected using the dropdown available in the left-hand side of the window and the list of projects of Avo Assure are available in the right-hand side.

1. Select project from Select TestRail Projects dropdown

2. Select Testcases that needs to be worked on from available list

3. Select Testcase from Avo Assure Project to map with TestRail Testcases > Click Map button from the right-hand side of the window

Note: Multiple Testcases can be selected to map with TestRail.

4. Click Save button à After saving you will get toast message ‘Testcases mapped successfully!’

Let’s now understand how to view the mapped Testcases.

1. Navigate to View Mapping tab to bring up the view mapping window

2. After clicking View Mapping, Toggle button shows two statuses.

First Case

After clicking View Mapping, if the toggle button is off, only the mapping of TestRail Testcase to Avo Assure Testcase can be viewed

Second Case

If the toggle button is on, mapping of Avo Assure Testcase to TestRail Testcase can be viewed.

3. Click the Download icon to export the mapping details. It will download the report in csv format.
