Journey View

The primary goal of the Journey View within the Design Studio is to enhance the user experience by providing a more intuitive and streamlined approach to understanding and navigating the progression of the Test Suite. By consolidating the Screen and Test Steps nodes into a single Test Step entity (Test Step Group) and presenting them in a linear journey from left to right.

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the project from the All Project list.

  3. The user has to click the Design Studio button, and the Design Studio window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to select the Journey View from the drop-down menu.

  5. The user has to click the Create Test Suite icon to create a test suite, and the Test Suite will be created. Click the Test Suite icon to get the context menu.

  6. The user has to click the Add Testcase button, and the Testcase will be created. To get the testcase context menu, click the Testcase icon.

  7. The user has to click the Add Test Steps Groups button, and the Add Test Steps Groups will be created.

  8. To save the journey view, the user has to click the Save button.

  9. The user has to click the Add Test Steps Groups icon to get the Add Test Steps Groups context menu.

  10. The user has to click the Design Steps Groups button, and the Design Steps Groups window will be displayed.

  11. The user can capture the elements in the Element Repository window. Note: Refer to the 'Element Repository' section.

  12. The user can design the test steps in the Design Test Steps window. Note: Refer to the 'Design Test Steps' section.

  13. The user has to click the Add Test Steps Groups button to create multiple test step groups.

  14. The user has to click the Save button to save the Test Step Groups, and the Add Test Steps Groups will be created.

  15. To create multiple testcase, the user has to click the Add Testcase button, and the Testcase will be created.

  16. To save the testcase, the user has to click the Save button.

  17. To copy/cut the test steps groups, the user has to click the Copy/Cut Test Steps Groups button.

  18. The user has to click the Paste Test Steps Groups button to paste the test steps groups.

  19. The user has to click the Save button, and the test steps groups will be pasted with the reuse symbol.

  20. The consolidated Screen and Test Steps nodes are put into a single Test Step Group and presented in a linear journey from left to right.
