Mapping Story

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the Project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button.

  4. The user has to click the Manage Integrations button, and the Manage Integration window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to enter the Jira credentials and click the Login button. Note: Users can save their Jira Login credentials in Settings, which will auto-populate the login data on subsequent logins.

  6. The user has to select the Jira project from the Select Project drop-down.

  7. The user has to select the Jira work items from the Select Release drop-down.

  8. To map the Story, the user has to select the release as Story.

  9. The user has to select the required Story from the list.

  10. To map the testcase, the user has to select the required testcase.

  11. The user has to click the Map button and click the Save button.

  12. To view the mapped files, click the View Mapping button, and the Mapped files window will be displayed.

Mapping Test Cases

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the Project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Settings button.

  4. The user has to click the Manage Integrations button, and the Manage Integration window will be displayed.

  5. The user has to enter the Jira credentials and click the Login button. Note: Users can save their Jira Login credentials in Settings, which will auto-populate the login data on subsequent logins.

  6. The user has to select the Jira project from the Select Project drop-down.

  7. The user has to select the Jira work items from the Select Release drop-down.

  8. To map the Test Case, the user has to select the release as a Test Case.

  9. The user has to select the required Test Case from the list.

  10. To map the testcase, the user has to select the required testcase.

  11. The user has to click the Map button and click the Save button.

  12. To view the mapped files, click the View Mapping button, and the Mapped files window will be displayed.

Issue Logging on Jira via Avo Assure Reports

  1. The user has to navigate to the Avo Assure home screen.

  2. The user has to select the Project from the project list.

  3. The user has to click the Report button, and the Reports window will be displayed.

  4. The user has to click the required Execution Profile, and the Execution List window will be displayed.

  5. The user can view all reports related to the Execution Profile.

  6. To view the report summary at the test suite level, the user has to click the Arrow icon.

  7. To view the report summary at the test case level, the user has to click the Arrow icon.

  8. To view the reports at the test case level, the user has to click the View button, and the Results Summary window will be displayed.

  9. The Result Summary table displays the execution results summary.

  10. To log the Jira issue, the user has to select the test case.

  11. The user has to click on the Bug icon and select the Jira button.

  12. An auto-filled Jira Login dialog box will be displayed, and the user has to click the Connect button and click on the Jira icon.

  13. The user has to select the Jira projects from the Select Projects drop-down.

  14. The user has to select the issue type from the Select Issue Type drop-down. Note: The ‘Configure Fields’ Button will be enabled only after selecting the project and issue type.

  15. If the custom field(s) are to be included, the user has to click on the ‘Configure Fields’ button.

    • Select the required field(s).

    • The selected field(s) will be visible in the Create Issue dialog box.

    • Fill in the necessary field(s). Note: If the selected configure field(s) are not required, they must be unselected.

  16. The user has to enter the reporter's name in the Reporter field.

  17. The user has to enter the environment in the Environment field and click the Proceed button.

  18. Once the defect is created, the Avo Assure Execution Report Bug will be changed to Jira Defect ID.

  19. To view the Linked Jira Issues, the user has to click the Jira ID.

  20. The Jira ID will navigate to the Jira Software, and the user can view the Linked Issues.
