Configuring and Executing Test Case

Configuring and executing test cases in Avo Assure requires a streamlined approach to ensure efficient test outcomes. As an initial step, you must configure the execution list with the appropriate settings, including test case selection, integration preferences, and defect management options. After the configuration is complete, you can proceed with executing the test cases, allowing Avo Assure to generate detailed reports.

To configure and execute test cases, perform the following actions:

  1. Navigate to Execution tab, Create Execution List.

  1. Select and Drag Test Case from Test Cases window.

  2. On the configuration window, select Client radio button and select available Avo Assure Client.

  3. Expand and select Browser from their respective dropdown.

  1. Expand Test Management option and select Zephyr Scale/Xray as Test management tool.

  • When selected Zephyr Scale, select Zephyr Scale project from dropdown and then select Test Cycle and Save it.

  • When selected Xray, select Xray Project and Test Plan and Save it.

  1. Expand the Bug Tracking Tool option and select Jira as bug tracking tool from the dropdown.

  2. Turn on the Auto Defect Creation toggle button and Save the Configuration.

  1. Click parent folder, select Execution List.

  1. Click Execute button located in top right pane, Execute Now window will appear.

  2. Click Execute button to start the execution.
