B. Test case

Steps to send Test Case for review.

  1. Navigate to Test Case Tab.

  2. Select the Test Case for which you want to send for review.

  3. Click Ellipsis icon.

  4. Select Send for review option.

  1. Select Reviewer from the dropdown menu.

  2. Add review comments in the text box and click Send for review button.

When a Test Case is sent for review, the user requesting the review loses access to it as the locking mechanism feature in Avo Assure gets activated for the Test Case.

Steps to Approve or Reject the Test artifacts (For reviewer)

  1. Navigate to Avo Assure landing page.

  2. Click Bell icon from the right pane of Avo Assure.

  3. Click review requested from the Bell icon.

Note: After Clicking on Review Requested, the user will be navigated directly to the specific Test Case where an action such as Approve or Reject needs to be taken.

  1. Click Information Panel icon from the Test Case Tab, then the Information popup window will appear.

  2. When a Test Case is sent for review, the reviewer can access detailed information through the Test case information panel. This panel appears on the right side upon selecting the Test Case and displays the following metadata:

  • Created On: Shows the date and time when the Test case was originally created. Helps identify the timeline of Test Case development.

  • Created By: Displays the name of the user who created the Test Case. Useful for knowing the author or contributor.

  • Modified On: Indicates the most recent date and time for the Test Case was modified. Helps reviewers see if any recent changes were made before the review.

  • Modified By: Shows the name of the user who last modified the Test Case. Assists in identifying who made the latest updates.

  • Status: Displays the current review state of the Test Case, such as Under Review, Approved, or Rejected. This helps track progress in the review process.

  • Comments: A custom message was added by the user who requested the review, usually to describe the purpose, functionality, or specific points to be checked in the Test Case.

  1. Approve or Reject the Element Repository, push or send back the Element Repository to its owner.
