C. Bulk Mapping

1. Map Test case via Import feature

The Import feature helps bring already mapped Test Cases into Avo Assure, where each Avo Assure Test Case is linked with its corresponding Xray Test Case. The mapping details are provided in a CSV, which contains information about both Avo Assure and Xray Test Cases. When the file is uploaded, Avo Assure reads the specified rows and columns and automatically creates the mappings based on the data.

To import a mapped Test Case, perform the following actions:

  1. After authenticating Avo Assure with Xray, select the View Mapping tab.

  2. Select Import icon. The Import File pop-up window opens.

Note: CSV file format is supported for importing Test Cases.

  1. From the Project dropdown, select the required Jira/Xray project.

  2. Select Upload File and then choose the file from local system.

  3. Select Import to import the mapped Test Cases.

Note: Select Cancel to remove the chosen Xray project.

2. Exporting Mapped Test cases

Exporting mapped Test cases allows you to easily review the Test cases mapped between Avo Assure and Xray. The export process generates a CSV file, making it convenient to share, analyze, or archive.

To export a mapped test case, perform the following actions:

  1. After authenticating Avo Assure with Xray, select the View Mapping tab.

  2. Select Export icon. The mapped Xray Test cases are automatically downloaded to the system.
