Why we compare our Test artifact?

In Avo Assure, comparing test artifacts helps users ensure that the test artifacts in Avo Assure and those in the Bitbucket repository are in sync. By comparing, users can:

• Identify differences between the test artifacts in Avo Assure and Bitbucket.

• Identify differences between the test artifacts stored in Avo Assure and those in Bitbucket.\

• Verify whether the latest updates are pushed to Bitbucket or need to be pulled back into Avo Assure.

Compare current Test artifacts with Bitbucket Data

For Avo Assure, versioning in Bitbucket is available for the following Test artifacts, which users can compare the data from Bitbucket Repository to currently Test artifacts. Below are the Test artifacts we can compare:

A. Element Repository

B. Test Case

C. Execution List

Note: The steps below are the same for all artifacts. Users just need to navigate to the respective artifact window.

Step for - Test Case

Step-by-step process to compare current Test artifacts with a pushed Test artifact.

1. In Pull Test Cases popup window.

2. Select Branch and select required folder.

3. Click Compare button to compare the previous pushed Test artifacts with current Test artifacts.

1. In right side table, previously pushed Test artifacts will be displayed and in left side current Test artifacts is displayed.

Note: on the right side of the table, users can see a column named Differences. It displays any modifications made or any T Test artifacts that have been removed from the folder.
