Prerequisites

User must ensure the following requirements are fulfilled before proceeding with Zephyr Scale integration in Avo Assure.

1. Cloud Authentication

For the cloud authentication, here are the prerequisites:

• Jira credentials: Keep Jira login credentials ready for authentication.

• Jira API token: Generate the Jira API token and store it securely for use during integration.

• URL for Jira instance: Ensure the Jira URL is correct and Accessible for usage.

• Zephyr Scale API token: Generate the Zephyr Scale API token and store it securely for use during integration.

• Avo Integrator: Ensure the Avo Integrator extension downloaded in the browser.

• Avo Assure Client: Ensure Avo Assure Client is successfully connected with Avo Assure.

2. Data Center Authentication

For the data center authentication, here are the prerequisites:

• Username: Ensure the Zephyr Scale Username is copied.

• PAT token: Generate the PAT (Personal Access token) token and store it securely for use during integration.

• URL for Jira instance: Ensure the Zephyr Scale URL is correct and Accessible for usage.

• Avo Integrator: Ensure the Avo Integrator extension downloaded in the browser.

• Avo Assure Client: Ensure Avo Assure Client is successfully connected with Avo Assure

Note: If the user does not want to use the Avo Assure Client for Zephyr Scale integration, they can download the Avo Integrator Extension in the browser to perform the integration. For installation steps, refer to Avo Integrator. If the user is logging into Avo Assure using Microsoft Edge for Zephyr Scale integration, they must connect the Avo Assure Client to Avo Assure.
