Pull

Note: The below push steps are applicable for Element Repository, Test Case, Execution profile and Data Table

Step-by-step process to pull in Bit bucket from Avo Assure:

1. Navigate to Test Case Tab

2. Click Bitbucket icon and select Pull

  1. Search Branch and select appropriate Test Case Folder

  2. Click Pull button, then user can see three options:

a. Overwrite

When Overwrite option is selected, it will restore the previous version of the Test Case folder into the current Test Case folder

b. Create test case

If Create test case option is selected, it will create new Test Case inside the Test Case folder

c. Create folder

If Create folder option is selected, it will create new folder in Test case tab and pull all the data in the newly created folder.

If the user wants to pull a Test Case or Test Case Folder along with its test data, they can simply check the Pull Associated Test Data box located at the bottom left of the Pull Test Case popup.

By selecting Overwrite option from Pull Test Cases popup window

  1. Click Yes button to restore the previous version of the Test Case folder into the current Test Case folder.

After some time, the user can see the previous version of the Test Case

User can also compare the elements with already pushed element

  1. Click Compare button to compare the previous pushed Element Repository with current Repository

  2. In right side table, previously pushed Test Case will be displayed and in left side current Test Case is displayed

Note: on the right side of the table, users can see a column named Differences. It displays any modifications made or any test steps that have been removed from the Test Steps Group.
