Install and Configure Agent

There are two ways to install Avo Agent in your local machine:

1. Install Agent from the landing page

2. Install Agent from the Admin tab

Installing agent from landing page

The step-by-step process to install Avo Agent from landing page:

1. Click Profile icon in top right corner of the landing page of Avo Assure.

2. Click Download from the context menu and then select Download Agent from the options, to download the Avo Assure Agent.

3. Locate the downloaded Avo Agent file in Downloads folder of your local machine and open it.

   This will bring up Avo Agent Configuration window on the screen.

4. Fill the necessary fields like:

• Enter server URL: Input the Avo -Assure server URL in the https:// field.

• Click the Submit button.

Note: The Port field is prefilled field, and it is by default in read-only mode.

This will automatically start the installation of Avo Agent, and the Client for Avo Agent will be downloaded subsequently.

After installation, locate the agent icon on the desktop. Verify that the hostname and username are visible alongside the agent icon.

Installing agent by navigating to Admin tab

The step-by-step process to install Avo Agent by navigating to admin tab:

1. Click Admin tab from the left pane of screen to navigate to admin window

2. Select Agents to navigate to Manage Agents window

3. Click Here text, present in the Download Agent section to download Agent
