Get Cell Text

This is a pre-built action available under the Captured Grid Element from the SAP GUI Application. The functionality of this action in Avo Assure is to fetch the text value from a specific cell in a Grid and save the result in the dynamic variable.

Syntax

Input Value: <Input Row; Column>

Argument	Description
<Input Row; Column> (Required)	Provide the row and column number of the cell

Output Value

Argument	Description
<Dynamic Variable> (Required)	This variable holds the result (text value) of the specified cell
<Dynamic Variable> (Optional)	This dynamic variable holds the execution status as True or False.

Example

Retrieves the text from a 7th row and 3rd column in the SAP Grid

The Get Cell Text action takes the value from the Input Value column (e.g., 7;3), where 7 represents the row and 3 represents the column of the target cell. The text retrieved from the specified cell is (e.g., 555) stored in the {Cell Text} variable, while the execution status is stored in the {Status} variable.
